In this installation of inimitable pencil drawings, I attempt to capture the feeling of loss. Whether we are mourning the loss of a person or something more mundane, I believe that instead of leaving a sense of emptiness, the yearned-for beloved has a weight and presence that we carry with us long after they have gone. As these people and objects slip into memory, they morph and soften around the edges, becoming gently elusive and lightly drift in and out of our consciousness.
